How It Works
Prepare Your Device
  • Fully charge your device (if your device does not power on, you may donate as is)
  • Reset your device – Factory reseting will ensure that all your data is wiped from your device. For Apple devices, you must disable “Find My” setting. (Click Here for steps to turn off “Find My” on any apple device)
iPhone
Turn off “Find My iPhone”
  1. Open your “Settings” app and tap your name at the top.
  2. Open the “Find my” section
  3. Tap on “Find My iPhone”
  4. Tap the switch to turn off “Find My iPhone” (note: you may have to disable Stolen Device Protection to do this)
  5. Enter your Apple ID password
 
Factory Reset
  1. Go to your “Settings”, tap on “General” and then “Transfer or Reset iPhone”.
  2. Tap “Erase All Content and Settings”. If you have a passcode, you’ll be prompted to enter it.
  3. Enter your Apple ID password and tap “Erase Now”.
  4. After a minute or two, your iPhone will restart and take you to the welcome screen. The reset is complete.
 
Samsung Galaxy
  1. Open your “Settings” app
  2. Scroll down and tap “General management”
  3. Scroll down again and tap “Reset”
  4. Scroll to the bottom and then tap “Factory data reset”
 
Google Pixel
  1. Open your “Settings” app
  2. Scroll down and tap “General management”
  3. Scroll down again and tap “Reset”
  4. Scroll to the bottom and then tap “Factory data reset”
Donate Your Device
Bring your devices to church and drop them off at the welcome desk, to any church staff, or in the donation bin located just inside the front door on the left hand side. Thanks again for your donation!
