First Methodist is located in beautiful Historic Downtown McKinney.  We are committed to “Sharing the heart of Christ from the heart of McKinney.”  We do that through caring for our adopted Title I school, Caldwell Elementary.  We partner with Community Lifeline to serve as a food distribution center.  We open our youth building, The Hub, in times of need like during the winter storm.

 

To continue to share the heart of Christ from the heart of McKinney, we are partnering with Downtown to share our parking lots during large events.  This is a wonderful opportunity to share what our church family has to offer.  We hope that you will join us in continuing to show McKinney who First Methodist is.

We will be serving hot dogs and snow cones, walking in the parade, and opening The Hub as a cooling station for families. You can help! This is fun for everyone! Every year e serve hundreds of hot dogs to the community and countless snow cones. We talk and pass out cards inviting people to worship. Thank you for volunteering and supporting our outreach in downtown.
