Volunteers Needed!

Our church works with several groups helping with the needs of those experiencing homelessness.

Volunteers are needed to work at the emergency warming station so that it can open in bad weather.

We also need volunteers to provide hot meals. COVID protocols in place.

We provide the meal every 2nd Sunday of the month at Roadside Church which also serves those in need. Sign up here!

Pop Up Event!

SATURDAY: Noon to 4 pm @ The Hub.  Come by and make Christmas ornaments! Take your photo by the Shine Bright painting, the Christmas trees built by Pastor Abe, or a very jolly inflatable friend!  Pick up your candle and gift for Christmas Eve!
SUNDAY: 1 – 3 pm @ HOPE School Playground & The Hub.  Come shop for Heifer!  Make a donation to Heifer International and see fun ways to make your gift into a present!  There will be another chance to pick up your candle and gift, take photos, and make an ornament.

New Group for Grandparents

Being a grandparent is a tremendous blessing.  This blessing is for the entire family! It is an important relationship in the life of the child, the parents, and the grandparents.

ARE YOU INTERESTED in developing this great blessing through community with other grandparents? A chance to share the stories, the struggles, the laughter and the tears of this journey? Let us know as we are developing an opportunity for grandparents to support each other.

Hugs for Soldiers!

HUGS FOR SOLDIERS
This is a ministry our church has done for years in partnership with a Methodist church in Duluth, GA. We send 700 cards to go with their packages for soldiers!
 
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Grab a box of Christmas cards and spread some cheer! Write as many as you’d like, but DON’T address or seal them. Drop your cards off in the bin by the front entrance of the church.

Youth Event!

Join the youth this Sunday, November 1st as we celebrate Dia de Los Muertos. We are going to have piñatas, pan de muerto (traditional sweet bread served on the Day of the Dead), and lots of fun. We are also going to talk about what it means to have a spiritual heritage. Come join us for Sunday Night Small Groups as we celebrate together.
 
6th Grade @ 5-6 PM
