A Very Caldwell Christmas

It’s time for our annual CALDWELL FAMILY CHRISTMAS and we are so excited! The event is December 16th from 4-8pm.

Ever since we adopted Caldwell years ago, we have sponsored their Angel Tree, making sure students (as well as their siblings) all get to have a wonderful Christmas.

YOU ADOPTED ALL 206 Angels ranging in age from 6 months to 18 years from 85 Caldwell families! Gifts are due back 12/1, 12/4, or 12/6.  Want to shop and provide for a family? Check out the meal kit info below.

At this event, we support the entire family. We ensure that all the siblings receive gifts. The kids get to “shop” for presents for their parents. This year they are choosing family games! We also feed the entire family dinner during the event. They will enjoy a taco bar while our Confirmation kids put on a Nativity skit. The parents also get to choose food from our pop-up pantry. It is truly a Family Christmas!
Pop Up Pantry @ A Very Caldwell Christmas
We are having a food pantry where the parents of our Angels can “shop” for free groceries during the Angel Tree event. Your gift helps provide food. What a Christmas gift!  CLICK HERE TO DONATE.

You can also shop for a meal kit! Due back by 12/11.
We would like a meal kit bundle that includes: 2lb bag of flour, 2lb bag of sugar, 2lb bag of masa, small bottle of canola/vegetable oil.

ALL ANGELS ARE ADOPTED!

Gifts are due back at the Church on either 12/1, 12/4, or 12/6.  Returning on these dates helps us make sure everything stays organized!

Want to be involved but can’t make it up to the church?  Email Caitlin for ways to be involved!

Christmas shopping is going to be stressful this year!  If you don’t feel like shopping this, you can make a donation through our online giving portal and we’ll put your gift toward presents for our angels or food for their families.  If you can, your gift of $35 or more will make a big difference.

This is a great way to support this ministry!
Caldwell works with the families to make a list for each Angel.  This list includes a jacket, hat & gloves, pants/jeans, shirt/hoodie, and two wishes.

We are asking for anyone who adopts an Angel to get one of each of the clothing items, and then to fulfill one or both of the wishes.

FAQ
Q: What if I want to get lots of clothes for my angel? Why are you only asking for one of each?
A: We want siblings to get the same amount of gifts. If you want to purchase more, please consider adopting another Angel or making a financial donation.

Q: I don’t know what this wish means. What if I don’t know the kind of toy they want?
A: Searching the name of the wish on Amazon is a great place to start. We’re also here to help! You can email Pam with questions.

Q: What do I do with the gifts?
A: You will get a Ziploc bag when you select your Angel. This bag has all the instructions. Please put all the unwrapped gifts into the trash bag and attach the tag (very important) with a zip tie (bag and tie included). Then return on one of the dates. Note: we use a trash bag so that the kids don’t see the gifts!
Volunteer sign up coming soon!  We especially need Spanish speakers for this event.  Email Pam if you have questions.
